Method
Preheat Oven:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a small square baking dish (8x8 inch) with parchment paper.
Mix Ingredients:
- In a mixing bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, almond butter, cocoa powder, and maple syrup. Stir until smooth. Add chocolate chips or vanilla if using.
Transfer to Pan:
- Spread mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Bake:
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until edges are set and center is firm.
Cool & Slice:
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares for best texture.
Notes
Use roasted or steamed sweet potato for best flavor.
Adjust sweetness with more maple syrup or by adding chopped dates.
Store in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for later.
Texture improves after chilling!
