- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
- Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Beat in egg, vanilla, and orange zest.
- Stir in dry ingredients just until combined.
- Fold in cranberries and chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheets, 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool for 5 minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack.
