Method
- Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread. Trim crusts if desired.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of Nutella onto the center of each slice.
- Add optional fillings like banana or strawberry slices on top of Nutella.
- Fold the bread over and seal the edges with a fork or press with a cutter.
- Lightly butter both sides of the sealed toast pie.
- Toast on a skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
Notes
For crispier pies, use a panini press or air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 5–7 minutes.
Nutella should be at room temperature for smooth spreading.
Great with a side of cold milk or hot coffee!
