Ingredients
  

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Method

Notes

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and creamy.
  • Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Mix until combined.
  • Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Scoop about 2 tbsp of dough per cookie onto the baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 9–11 minutes, or until edges are golden and centers look just set.
  • Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
